I have a meeting with one of the community education folks tomorrow night and I just wanted to verify what we need. I assume a standard school gym would work for us or at least a large room with high ceilings? Also, just Thursdays, Thursday/Sunday, or something completely different?

And yes, you have it exactly. A school gym would work out great! Or if not a gym, yeah just a larger room with higher ceilings. Thursdays is the primary concern, but if we can get Thursdays and Sundays that would be perfect! If your meeting is after 7:30 I could come with, but I'm with my son until then. Meeting went pretty well. She seemed a bit shocked at first when I described what we do but I pointed out that they already have a fencing group meeting under their auspices and she warmed up to the idea. She needs a few things before she can take it to the director, most of them I can take care of but I do need a title and 75 word description that would appear in the catalog, preferably emphasizing that this is a class and how safe it is.
Unfortunately the next community education session starts in February so it won't help us immediately.

Awesome! I can get a writeup done here for you soon. We will hopefully be able to get a racquetball court at the Y in the meantime. I'll try to get a writeup done for you here in the next day or two, and I'll e-mail ti to you to send on to them.
